The Omaha Fire Department will soon have a new 100-foot aerial ladder truck in its fleet.
The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to spend $676,207 in bond funds to purchase the new equipment.
City officials say the department will trade in two aging ladder trucks for the new equipment.
